I have recently become obsessed with Hunting for George – a gorgeous boutique home décor site that literally serves every need for your home at a really reasonable price! They stock some of their own products but mainly support more boutique designers and makers from both Australia and internationally.
Hunting for George stocks an array of gorgeous items from stuff for your bathroom to linen, décor, garden and outdoor and neat little kitchen items to make your home stand out from the rest.
Given there are so many awesome products and suppliers on the market, it can be a little hard to find the diamond amongst the rough, so I thought I would start sharing weekly posts on my favourite things from my favourite suppliers, starting with Hunting for George. I will preface this by saying that there are so many amazing products on Hunting for George I probably won’t be able to cover them all in one post.
Kip & Co Pink Velvet Bean Bag
Am I the only one obsessed with velvet right now? These come in an array of colours and are made from 100% cotton velvet, perfect for snuggling up and watching a movie. $129
Milk & Sugar Angus Candle Sticks
Made from marble and crafted by hand, these candles are fabulous in both design and texture, they would make for a perfect centerpiece at any dinner party or your next romantic dinner for two. Available in three different sizes from $21.
Milk & Sugar Doris Stool
Available in four different colours and made from quality, I reckon these would make some pretty adorable side tables for your lounge or bedroom. They are also available in four different colours so you can easily find one that matches your colour suite. $129 each.
Uashmama Darks & Lights Laundry Bag
I am a little obsessed with separating my lights and darks to make washing that much easier - I currently make do with a cheapy from Bunnings but I'm thinking this may be a new addition for my laundry. The bag is cleverly designed allowing you to press stud more bags should you also like to separate your delicates! $79 each.
Dowel Jones Copper Pendant Light
This pendant would make a beautiful feature - I'm thinking against a rich navy wall under a big grand daddy arm chair (whilst reading a book). You have four colours to choose from here, so if you love the design but hate the copper, don't despair! These lights are manufactured in Melbourne and start from $300.
Blacklist Beautiful Eyes Print
I'm a big fan of any blacklist print, but this one caught my eye. The words and the simplicity of the print really resonated with me and I think it is a nice reminder that it is okay to be sad every once in a while. $75.
Armadillo Door Mat
These gorgeous door mats are thick in texture and feel beautiful under your feet. You have two choices of colours and they are priced at $155.
Milk & Sugar Slate Table Clock
Continuing with the navy items, this slate table clock would be a perfect fit for your office or even bedside table. These are made by Milk & Sugar and are $35.
Uashmama Paper Bag
I love these planter bags (although they're not limited to plants) for many reasons - not only does it make your pot plants look even more beautiful, it adds a whole other textural element to the room. They are designed to be rolled so you can easily modify the height to suit most pot plants. $24
Uashmama Silver Paper Cushion
How gorgeous is this cushion! I am in love for many reasons - the colour, the texture and the shape. Win, win win. I need not say anything more. Depending on the size you choose, they range between $99 and $157.
